Don’t Look Like a Newbie
Believe it or not, the best way to make money off of your blog is NOT to look like a newbie. So listen up and learn, because I’m going to provide you with some tips on how to look EXACTLY like a newbie!
1) Forget about using title case in your titles. Proper capitalization in your titles is the first sign of a halfway competent writer.
2) Create a new category for each new post! That way, your blog will lack the necessary cohesiveness that is the hallmark of a professional. Cohesiveness is a big turn off to potential customers!
3) Be open immediately about the fact that you don’t know what to blog about. Stating a theme and remaining consistent on it reeks of competent writing, so be honest and admit you have no idea what you’re doing.
4) Erratic posts ensure that visitors will know you’re a newbie. Yeah, erratic posting such as writing consistently for seven consecutive days and then not posting anything for a month. That will ensure a less than loyal readership, which is exactly what a professional wouldn’t do.
5) And lastly, but certainly not least, get down on your hands and knees and beg every legitimate site out there to link to you, and for added amateur effect, don’t even offer a reason for them to link to you.
