How to Collect Tons of Links

The first step in becoming an Internet mogul is by becoming a back link superstar. Unlike most articles that offer suggestions for getting links, this article isn’t worthless because the methods you should do first appear first; technical jargon will be explained; and perhaps most importantly, it doesn’t link to other lists. This is the definitive list on getting links to your website.
1) Create value to your website where others lack, and your website will naturally become invaluable. This is easier said than done. We need to offer more to our readers.
2) Blogs will increase traffic and provide more back links because people will want to come back if they know that new information will constantly be added—just so long as this new information is fresh and pertinent to our lives in some way.
3) Create authority articles. These are highly-thorough articles that will warrant people linking to them for reference purposes.
4) Link up to Technorati.com. The tag system allows search engines to pick up keywords related to your article, thus creating links to your website.
5) Publish an RSS feed.
6) Make your articles easy to Digg. This is an excellent way to raise website exposure and get people to link to you as well.
7) Recognize online gurus of your subject and pay homage (read: link) to them frequently. If they’re worth their salt, they’ll investigate to see if you’re sending traffic their way and link to you as well.
Respond to comments left on your blog. Build a readership by letting them know you care about what they have to say.
